Using Bowen Family Systems Theory in Ministry

ONLINE COURSE – Starts in February, 2026

Sponsored by Living Systems Counselling

Overview

Our communities of faith embody the gift of connecting with others as we journey in faith. Faith communities are emotional systems where dynamics under the surface can both enhance and disrupt the harmony we find within them. Family Systems Theory (as developed by Dr. Murray Bowen) can help us think through these dynamics and learn more about how we as faith leaders can function our best.
