Maybo Lui
Maybo is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and faculty member at Living Systems Counselling, where she provides individual and couples counselling. She works primarily with adults navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, and major life transitions.
With over a decade of experience grounded in Bowen Family Systems Theory, Maybo supports clients in gaining clarity, strengthening their connections, and approaching life’s challenges with greater confidence and purpose.
Having grown up in a Chinese immigrant family, Maybo brings a thoughtful awareness of how culture, family roles, and expectations shape individual experiences and relationships.
In addition to her clinical work, Maybo has made ongoing efforts to make systems ideas more accessible through visuals and storytelling. She regularly facilitates workshops and short courses and has presented at the 2025 Conference on Aging: Individual Challenge or Family Opportunity? She has also been featured as a podcast guest on Caregivers Out Loud (2026) and the Elevator Systems (2026) Podcast.
I support individuals and couples in understanding themselves more clearly so they can make thoughtful decisions, particularly when the stakes are high and the path forward feels unclear.
